We believe there’s not a one size fits all learning style for children. Our philosophy is to individualize education and care to meet children where they’re at developmentally. We do this by using the science of applied behavior analysis to provide appropriate activities at each stage of growth.
EEC is dedicated to helping all children build a strong foundation for healthy and productive lives. To get an EEC license, the program has to meet health, safety, supervision, and training standards, including:
Programs must provide a healthy and safe environment, and offer activities that help your child develop and grow.
Administrators and educators must be First Aid and CPR certified.
Administrators and educators must be trained in child development and curriculum implementation.
Programs must keep appropriate ratios of educators to children.
Programs must complete EEC’s Background Record Check requirements.
The mixed-age group program at Packard Mountain is created to meet the early needs of growing infants and toddlers as they pass through developmental stages that include early mobility through more advanced mobility, sleeping and eating patterns, communication, social-emotional development, and the exploration of their environment. Our days are packed with music and movement exercises, hands-on learning activities, outdoors, and opportunity for our toddlers to independently explore the various learning areas in their classroom.
Our educational program centers on the development of social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development while utilizing children’s natural sense of curiosity.
Research-based Experience Early Learning Curriculum for Babies focuses on early learning developmental goals to support social-emotional connections, foster security and trust, and engage infants through play opportunities to explore and discover their environment while developing physical, language, and communication skills, and social-emotional well-being.
Research-based Experience Early Learning Curriculum for Toddlers focuses on more advanced early learning developmental goals to support social-emotional connections, foster security and trust, and engage toddlers through sensory-rich play opportunities, develop problem-solving skills, and develop independence during exploration of their classroom learning centers.
Communication between our teachers and families is one of our main priorities. In addition to our regular in-person contacts with families at pick-up and drop-off times, we regularly connect via a digital communication app and our curriculums traveling journal. iPads in each classroom allow our teachers to give you daily reports, images, and videos. Families have the option of downloading this app to their smartphones or signing up to receive these communications via email. Families may also obtain the weekly curriculum calendar, announcements, and other crucial information using this app.
